In collaboration with MFAT’s Māori Policy and Public Diplomacy teams, we developed a style and design system to be used across 53 overseas posts for Matariki - the celebration of the Maori new year.

For overseas audiences, it was important to not only introduce Te Iwa O Matariki (the nine stars of Matariki) but also the significance of the holiday as the Māori new year. In addition to the stars, Te Reo Māori was highlighted as a visual asset of it's own.
